We have been busy making some beautiful paper flowers to send to one of the residents at Summerhill Care Home. We hope they like them and it brightens their day!

We have had a busy week learning the ‘tch’ sound, learning about speech marks and learning how to carry in an adding chimney sum.
We have also been busy doing lots of lovely art! We had fun making our own scratch art firework pictures. They looked lovely and colourful.
We also painted poppies on stones which will be displayed at Hazlehead Park for Remembrance Day. If you are at Hazlehead Park you might see them. They look amazing! We also made some lovely poppy pictures.
Yesterday we collected lots of leaves in the playground and today we used them to make some lovely Autumn art. We used the leaves to create pictures of animals and people.
We were very creative and made foxes, hedgehogs, butterflies and lions.
We also had lots of fun doing some Yoga!

We had lots of fun outside practising our skipping! Some people were crossing their hands when skipping and even doing hopscotch at the same time!
We have also been reading the story ‘The Colour Monster’ and making our own monsters. Each monster is a different colour to represent a different feeling.
We have also been drawing faces in the abstract style of Picasso! We drew different emotions on the faces and coloured them in bright eye catching colours.
We had a lovely Friday afternoon in the library choosing and reading some books.
We also finished our lovely feelings display!
In Maths Primary 3 have been learning to do column addition (chimney sums). They have been doing a fantastic job and trying really hard!
We have also been learning about feelings. We read a lovely story called ‘In My Heart’ by Jo Witek and explored the different feelings we might experience.
