Here are some of the photos from the P5 World of Sport day. All pupils participated in Team Building Challenges, Orienteering, Climbing the Climbing Tower, Tennis, Quick Cricket, Football, Skipping and Festival Games.

The weather was very mixed but luckily it got better as the day went on!

Mrs Cox and I have been incredibly impressed by the topic research books! It is clear that a lot of time and effort has gone into each task.

Next week the pupils will be given the opportunity to show off their books to the class.

We had a short visit from the City Wardens today. They were reminding us of how to stay safe when travelling to and from school.

We were very lucky to have Finlay’s dad, Myles, visit our class today. He told us all about his exciting swimming career and the hard work it took to reach the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.

We had a very busy and fun afternoon making our flapjacks! A huge thanks to Mrs Mutch for coming along to help us.

We had so much fun listening to Robbie Renwick tell us all about his swimming career! We all got to hold his Commonwealth gold medal and World Championship gold medal.

We are very excited about Olympic athlete Robbie Renwick coming to visit this afternoon! Watch this space for photos…

We are raising money with a ‘Wear a Hat’ day – visitors are welcome to participate!

We made cowboys/cowgirls of ourselves. Mrs Rennie printed off photos of us and we stuck them on to the pictures that we drew. Then we used felt and materials to stick on!

We have been making a wild west display, at the moment it’s not done yet. Everyone has taken part in it and everyone is enjoying it, we thank our teachers for choosing such a fun TOPIC for us!!!
