We were revising the ng sound with Mrs Duncan (Thurs/Frid) this week.  We played a super bingo game to warm up our brains and to help us to develop our early reading skills.  You can play it by clicking here – you will need to print page 6 of the bingo cards before beginning.

We then made a gigantic list of ‘ng’ words as a class and then worked in teams to create ‘rings of ng’.  This required us to problem solve when trying to work out how to stick rings together.  We also had to support our team members and had to try and sound out dozens of ‘ng’ words.  We were delighted when we managed to get some of our ‘ng rings’ to reach the floor!  They were huge.
