On the 10th of November our Rights Respecting Schools steering group led the school in achieving our Recognition of Achievement.
To do this we have surveyed pupils and staff to find out whether the school community ensures that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is evident in our work. Now that the survey is complete we have a plan to progress towards the Level 1 award, which requires us to ensure that the whole school community (pupils, parents, other agencies and staff) have the UNCRC at the centre of all that we do.
This will be a busy year for the school working towards Level 1 so please keep an eye on this webpage for more information.
