We conducted a second experiment today to see how far sneezes spread germs. We measured how far the sneeze went with nothing in front of it, a hand in front and a tissue. We found that the tissue caught most of the sneeze and that it is the best thing to use.

The Bread Touching Experiment
We conducted an experiment to find out what happens to bread when we touch it with clean hands, dirty hands or when no one touches it. We also predicted what would happen after a week.

Germ Detectives
We covered our hands with special “germs” and used a light box to see them. We washed our hands and used the light box again to see who was the best hand washer. Sneezy Sam joined P3 and had a great time “sneezing” on the class.
The Respiratory System
Primary 3 had a yoga lesson to experience different breathing techniques. We have been learning about how the lungs work.
