We had lots of fun at our Autumn party, scooping out pumpkins, playing games and dancing. The outfits were amazing.
We had a lovely walk to the Burnie to look at the changes in the trees and plants. We collected lots of autumn leaves and used them to create fabulous crowns when we got back to school. Thank you so much to the parents and grandparents who gave up their time to help us have a fun trip.
Baking and helping to prepare snack creates so many learning opportunities…..
We have been very busy in the Early Learning garden, putting in plants that prefer shade, alpine plants and some spring bulbs.
We have enjoyed getting wet and splashing in puddles.
This term our topic is literacy based and we have been focusing on some of the children’s favourite stories and nursery rhymes.
Through ‘Miss Polly Had a Dolly’ we learned all about our families, looking after babies, and keeping safe around medicines.
Incy Wincy Spider – We did on a mini project, where we learned about positional language, discovered facts about spiders, the water cycle and states of water.
