Winter walk before skiing 🎿⛷❄️🌨

Our year group had lots of fun on our ski trip but unfortunately the wifi wasn’t the best, so we will update you now!

On Wednesday when we came back from a long day of skiing and one of our pupils had discovered a deep cut in his leg; he was very brave and made a joke out of it.

On Thursday afternoon we went to Braemar and bought gifts for our friends and family. After dinner we had a party with lots of dance moves and even the limbo!

On our last day of skiing we had awards given to us based on how we skied and we all did so well. We were all sad to leave but it was a fantastic week and we all enjoyed it so much!

Just a a few snaps from today! Wifi at Gulabin is a bit ropey so that’s all we can upload at the moment – but rest assured, we have plenty of photos of the week so far!

Another great day on the slopes. All groups were up the chairlift today which is fantastic. Everyone is progressing really well and the instructors are pleased with the progress.

A bit windy up the hill today with a wee bit of snow but there were some patches of sunshine. ☀️

A ski safety talk and Gordon’s legendary ghost stories have kept us busy this evening. Lots of sleepy faces now so it won’t be long until bedtime!!

We enjoyed some delicious birthday cake after dinner tonight – happy birthday Greg!! 🎂

Arrived safely and had a great first day on the slopes. Plenty of snow so fab conditions for skiing. All groups doing well and only a few wet bottoms!!

We’re settled into Gulabin and have been relaxing with a DVD tonight.

We can’t currently upload photos but will continue to try.

It’s snowing at the moment so we’re looking forward to some fresh snow on the hills in the morning!

We are playing our part in Safer Internet Day.

On Tuesday we went to an activity in the GP room called Prayer Space. Leading us was John and his helpers from our local church. We took part in a variety of activities about God and the world  including: writing our thanks on a note, looking at ourselves in the mirror to see that we are all special, praying for countries in need, saying sorry for our sins and lots more!

We had lots of fun learning about God and the world!

This afternoon, we made our theme park rides and our one was a Human Catapult. The ride catapulted the person into a waterfall. It worked very well and we all worked as a team. We really enjoyed it and hope to do it again soon.
