Term 1, Week 2
Another exciting week! Lots of great writing and work on column multiplication this week! We also had a visit from other school’s teaching staff to see how great our pupils are getting on. When they visited, our class was doing a Waste Audit to try to identify how to reduce the waste levels in our class bins!

Data Handling, Money, Angles, Position and Movement, and Measure.
In literacy: non-fiction writing (particularly persuasive forms such as editorials and instructive such as recipes).
P.E.: Athletics in preparation for Sports Day (May the 18th).
Topic/Health and Wellbeing: My World of Work and Substance Use (specifically tobacco use).

As part of our Health and Wellbeing: Food Health topic we cooked some chicken broth from scratch in a pressure cooker. Mr McCallum said it was the best pot of soup he’d ever tasted!
