Our primary 4 and primary 5 classes have started a 6 week block of football coaching sessions. The sessions will link with health work that will be ongoing in class.
Aberdeen FC Coaching
P7 Rugby
The P7 children have started another block of rugby with Stuart, the Rugby Development Officer from Aberdeen Grammar RFC. This block will run for 6 weeks.
Young Engineers
The Young Engineers Club has now started. The club runs from 3pm – 4pm on Mondays, for our senior pupils.
The Young Engineers first task is to build an Egg Protection Unit to protect an egg from a drop.

Primary 5
Well done to all the boys and girls in primary 5 who recently took part in the Scottish Engineering Special Leaders Award for STEM. All the boys and girls were presented with their certificates today during assembly.
Football
The football teams are all up and running and most of the teams have started to play against other teams. Some of our teams have new strips that they showed today at assembly. They all look very smart!
Value of the Month
Our new value for the month is Tolerance. For the next month, children displaying this quality will be awarded certificates at our Friday assembly.
Primary 3 Football Coaching
Our primary 3 class have recently started football coaching with Marshall Phillips from ACE Football. During the sessions the children will be learning about teamwork, cooperation, fair play as well as developing their football skills.
Jobs Fayre
On Thursday 21st March we are planning to hold a ‘Job’s Fayre’ for our P6 and P7 pupils.
We are looking for volunteers that would be willing to come into school to talk to the children about your job. We would like to give the children as wide a variety of jobs as possible.

Aberdeen Football Club
On Saturday 22nd December 98 tickets, through Cash for Kids, were given out to our pupils to attend the Aberdeen FC V St Johnstone game.
The children that attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves although a few mentioned it was rather cold!
