Music Festival
A massive well done to our p2/p3 choir and our senior choir that took part in the Music Festival today. Everyone that attended the festival was extremely proud of you all. A huge thank you to Mr Miller, our vocal tutor that has worked wonders with both choirs. A special thank you to Alister and Lizzy for accompanying the choirs on piano. Thank you to all the parents and friends that came to watch both choirs perform at the Music Hall.

Sports Day
Well done to everyone that competed at Sports Day on Monday. What a great day we had, lovely weather and lots of great races. Thanks to everyone that came to watch and a special thank you to everyone that took part in our adult races.
Jump Rope for Heart
Well done to everyone at Quarryhill who recently took part in Jump Rope for Heart campaign for the British Heart Foundation. The school raised over £1200. 80% of the total will go to the BHF charity and 20% towards school funds.
Rotary Club Quiz Finals
Well done to Jordan, Ciara, Katie and Glen who represented Quarryhill very well at the recent Rotary Club Quiz Finals. We are proud of your achievements.
Rotary Club Quiz
Last week Katie, Jordan, Ciara and Olivia, in primary 7 represented Quarryhill at the Rotary Club quiz heats. The girls had to answer ten rounds of general knowledge questions and compete against 8 other schools. Not only did the girls represent themselves fantastically well but they also won the quiz with an amazing score of 50/60! They will now represent Quarryhill at the regional finals in May!
Well done girls, we are so proud of you all!
Jobs Fair
Today Quarryhill held a jobs fair for our P6 & P7 pupils. A wide range of jobs were represented at the fair and the children had the opportunity to speak to people from 12 different occupations including a nurse, special constable, offshore worker, HR manager, master mariner, sales and marketing, teacher and engineer. All the children that attended enjoyed the event and gained a lot of knowledge into different jobs. We would like to thank all the people who came to speak to the children.
Comic Relief
Well done to all the boys and girls at Quarryhill that dressed in red for Comic Relief. £222 was raised.

P3 Forest Schools
The pupils in primary 3 have been taking part in forest schools. They have been learning lots of thing including shelter building. They have been working with Simon from the Aberdeen Ranger Service.
Although it was cold, all the boys and girls had a great time.
