Congratulations to our pupil of the week:
Leila Donaldson
Leila brings her positive attitude into school every single day. Each day starts with a smile and only improves from there. No challenge is every too much for our Leila. Thank you for your warmth and positivity, you make us smile and work harder too!

CLIC Maths Week Beg. 26/11/18
Counting: I can count along when the numbers are written in 1s/2s/5s/10s/25s.
Learn Its: I can say 3 x Table – Let’s record the 3 x Table.
It’s Nothing New: I can swap objects.
Calculation: I can find the difference using column subtraction.
The 4 Times Table
Primary 4 are excellent at the 3 times table. Time for a new challenge: Here is our 4 x table song.
Remember, we can play with our numbers – It’s Nothing New! So that if you know 4 x 8 = 32 (Mrs Matthews favourite fact), you also know that 8 x 4 =32, and backwards: 32/4 = 8 or 32/8 = 4!!!
Now, let’s dance and learn, here we go!
The Elves are at Work
Today we started our display wall for Christmas. We practiced, measuring, using templates, tracing and cutting. Most of all we learned that to get the most parts from one piece of card, we need to start at an edge!
We only have one more session to finish our puppet display – can we do it in time?
Pupil of the Week: November 23, 2018
Congratulations to our pupil of the week:
Jack Quinlan
Jack gave Primary 4 a very informative talk about the oil rigs in Aberdeen. He explained a lot about the tools, and suits. He used a clear voice and lots of photographs and a video to help him. He also answered all questions fully from our quality audience. Well done, and thank you, Jack!
