So far this year in Citizenship, Primary 4 have been focusing on classroom behaviour and attitudes, pupil council, and target setting. It’s now time to take our community to a bigger scale – Aberdeen!
Since I am new to Aberdeen, Primary 4 are setting me a challenge of visiting all their favourite parts of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire before the end of Primary 4! On Monday, they will be drawing and writing me a list of places to visit. Once I have visited their places of choice I will post a photo (as proof that I have indeed gone there) on our blog. The children can then guess where I have been and check that area off our list.
So, their homework this weekend is to think of their 5 favourite places to go, and why they would like me to visit there. These places can be places to eat, a tourism venue, or somewhere to sit and relax. I do have a family and my son is in Primary 4 too, so don’t worry if one or more of their places suited to a person their age. I am sure my son will be very happy to make sure I go!!!
Thank you for help,
Mrs Matthews
