Congratulations to our Pupil of the Week – Amber! Amber has been working hard in class all week and did a particularly amazing job in our Scottish Dancing!   Amber listened so carefully to all the instructions and really impressed us with how quickly she picked up all the moves! Fantastic work Amber – we’re so proud of you!

Money Money Money!

Happy New Year! We are looking forward to another exciting term ahead in P2/3! Our heads are down and we are working hard already!

These first few weeks we have been continuing to work on Money in Maths. Some of us have been counting and making coin collections for amounts up to 50p and some of us have been working up to £1. This is something which many of the children are finding quite challenging so any extra practise handling coins at home or when out shopping would be very useful. There are also some great games online which can be used to support your child in their learning. Here are the links for a couple of money games you might like to try with your child at home:

Many thanks for your support!

Visit to Margaret Clyne Court

We had a great time bringing some festive cheer to our friends at Margaret Clyne Court yesterday! They really enjoyed our concert songs and were delighted with the lovely cakes we made for them! It was lovely to see the children chatting and having fun with all the residents – they really did us proud!

Christmas Enterprise

We were very busy in P2/3 this morning working on our Christmas Entetprise! We worked as a team to make some delicious Chocolate Crispie Christmas Pudding cakes and a collection of Candy Cane Reindeers to sell at the School Christmas Fair on Saturday. Everyone did a great job! A big thank you to Miss Leslie and Mrs Souter for their hard work in the kitchen today!
