This week we will be going up to Kincorth Library for our final visit of the session on Tuesday morning.

Homework – Spelling and reading homework will continue this week. Spelling words will be given home on Monday and the book should be returned to school on Friday.  Our spelling pattern is ey as in honey and monkey. Please write each word 3 times and choose 2 words and write a sentence with each. Spelling test will be on Friday so homework should be completed by then.

Reading – The children will get 2 new books this week on Monday and Thursday.

Maths

C – Counting along a number line in 2s, 3s, 5s, 10s

L –  2 x table jumbled facts

I –  Coin Multiplication    multiply a number by 1, 2, 5, 10  

C – Addition 2 digit + 2 digit numbers

 

Our focus for other maths work this week will again be place value. We will concentrate on partitioning a number into hundreds, tens and units.

 

French – This week our French will be our daily routine of the day and date for our calendar. We will also revise the colours and numbers to 31.

Topic – This week we will do some taste experiments and find about about the different tastes the tongue can detect. We will also start thinking about healthy and unhealthy foods.
