Authors Live is a series of world class children’s authors and illustrator events brought directly to your classroom, library or computer for free, live on the web by BBC Scotland Learning and Scottish Book Trust.
We have two amazing opportunities for your school to take part in Authors Live this term.

Authors Live: Polly Dunbar & Long Nose Puppets – Thursday 25 April, 11am, suitable for nursery-P3
Authors Live: Tony Robinson’s Weird World of Wonders – Thursday 6 June, 11am, suitable for P3-7

Register to watch these events online and be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of 5 class sets of books. You can also apply to be part of the audience for Tony Robinson’s event.
We have also produced free classroom resources to accompany each event to help inspire teachers to be creative in the classroom while watching Authors Live events.

Teacher Ambassador Programme
Alongside Authors Live we have been running a Teacher Ambassador Programme. The programme showcases the work of schools in embedding Authors Live in to the classroom using a variety of innovative and creative teaching practices.
