The Higher Art and Design Course involves:
- Producing and Expressive Art unit with either a Portraiture, Landscape or Still life theme: 100 marks
- Producing a Design unit with either a Graphic design, Product Design or Jewellery/Fashion or Architecture theme: 100 marks
- Producing written work on 2 Artists and 2 Designers exploring their social/cultural background and work leading to a 2 hour written exam: 50 marks
All practical work is sent to the SQA to be assessed at the end of the year.
All skills and learning lead towards the Advanced Higher Art and Design course.
