Outside with Mrs Whatcott children were pretending to be Fire Fighters, they built a fire engine and a burning building then used cardboard tubes as fire hoses to extinguish the fire, great teamwork.

We were using sponges to paint and the children noticed that by pressing the sponge into the paint and onto paper they could make circles, we had a lot of chat about circles after that.

Snack is now on a four week rota, you can see more information on what is for snack each day on our nursery notice board.  On a Tuesday children get to choose, this week the choice was porridge, grapes, banana and strawberries – delicious.

We hope you have all had a lovely summer holiday and you are looking forward to the new school year starting.  We are so looking forward to seeing everyone and hearing all of your holiday news.  See you all on Tuesday. 

What a busy and fun week it has been for our almost Primary 1 children! One of the fun things we got to do was meet Mr Lamb, the gym teacher. We were playing lots of fun games, while working on some key gross motor skills and making sure we were sharing and taking turns! Everybody is now very excited for gym time next year!

What a fantastic day we all had at the Safari Park. Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun! We have had some great feedback, so make sure to check out our traffic light board in the corridor to see what others thought and what we plan to do next year, based on your suggestions!
