We are expecting a ‘special visitor’ to come to our Christmas parties on Wednesday 20th of December. You are very welcome to come and join us at these times. There will be an opportunity to take a quick photo.
The children had to work together this week using cubes to solve the puzzle. They learned that teamwork gets the job done.
After voting for their favourite the winning buggy is here. We unpacked it together and helped to set it up. It’s already been put to good use and the children love using it for role play.
Layla and her Mummy were delighted to win our top prize of a Kindle at the nativity raffle.

I’ve attached a note about the clothes to be worn underneath the costume for our Nativity performance. We provide the actual costume but it is great if underneath blends in too. Xmas Costumes Note 2017
During our discussions with our parents they said that it would be great to get a clear picture of all the things we do to support learning in nursery. So we have divided it up into areas of language, maths and health & well-being and made a little summary for you. The first summary is a language one and it will be sent out at the start of next year.
Nativity tickets are on sale now for our performances on the 14th.
They cost £1 each and you can have up to 3 tickets now with more available later.
We have started to go on the trim track more often using it as part of our nursery garden. It gives us great opportunities to run, climb and balance. Super fun!
The children had a great time helping to make Snowman Soup and Reindeer Food for the Christmas Fayre! Well done boys and girls, you helped to raise £2800 for the school. Great job!
We are very lucky to have some Primary 6 reading buddies come down to nursery on a Thursday to read and act out some stories using the schools new story sacks. The nursery boys and girls have been loving their story sessions! Thanks Primary 6!
