The children in Primary 1 were very excited to go on their first school trip. Â Last Wednesday we went to Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Â The bus journey was very exciting-especially going over the Forth road bridge. Â The cinema was lovely-the old fashioned, squeaky seats were a real novelty. Â Unfortunately we were unable to see the film due to technical issues with the sound! Â The children did enjoy eating their snack in the cinema and the return bus journey! Â Here’s hoping our next outing will be more successful.

Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL)
Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL)
All teaching staff at Uphall Primary School have recently had AAL training. This is the use of technology, both from home and provided by school, to support teaching and learning within classrooms. Children will soon be able to bring their own devices, in agreement with their parents and carers, to school.
Our first job is to work with the children to decide on a set of rules which they will follow.
We look forward to sharing our progress with you over the coming months.

Practising for our rainforest assembly
It’s been a busy week for P4C, what with learning all our songs and being given our scripts for the assembly. We’re super excited to be sharing our learning next week with our parents or carers and we look forward to seeing some of you then.
Until then, we’re going to be busy singing and making costumes. We’re so excited!
