Bringing Water to School

As the weather gets warmer the children will need to be drinking water in school. As such we would like to remind all pupils to bring a water bottle to school every day. Still juice, not fizzy, should only be brought for snack or lunch and not for drinking in the classroom.

P6 Lendrick Muir: Day 1

A great first day has been had by all at Lendrick Muir.

We had a welcome meeting as soon as we arrived where we learned all about the facilities and our activities for the week. We also learned that we have to make our own beds… our first big challenge! Then we had a scavenger hunt and got to explore some of the grounds.

We then stopped for a delicous 2-course lunch. The food is amazing here and we’re all being very well fed!

Next we split into our activity groups and had a go at lot of different activities… one highlight for all today was definitely the Inflatables! We all had a good laugh at our teachers trying the Bungee Run!

We’ve just had dinner (another yummy 2-courser!) and we’re about to settle for tonight’s entertainment… A Murder Mystery! Afterwards we’ll have some supper and (try!) to have an early night to gain plenty of rest for tomorrow’s activities.

Dance Video for P4K

Primary 4K are busy practising for our class assembly on 26th May. We will be doing a dance to Pharrell Williams, Happy. I have posted the link below and the children are happy (excuse the pun) to practise at home. The countdown to the extravaganza has begun.

Thank you for your support.

Nursery

We have been keeping busy in nursery enjoying the nice weather and spending time outside. Some children have had the opportunity to visit the Range Park playing on the different apparatus. These visits will continue over the next few weeks.

Continuing with our growing topic the some children planted seeds which will go outside when they have germinated. The seeds included peppers, tomatoes and melon. They are learning how to look after living things.
