P1S have had a great morning experimenting with the BeeBots whilst learning about direction.

Primary 2 Transport Museum Trip
We had an amazing time at the transport Museum. It was great to see some of the old forms of transport we have learning about in class including the Benz Motorwagan and the Penny Farthing. The children loved all the interactive exhibits and being able to explore old buses, trams and even a replica subway. Thanks so much to our parent helpers for volunteering to come along to help us visit the museum.
Gardening Group
Mrs Stevenson and her Groovy Gardeners have been out and about during lunchtimes and playtimes. If you see them around the school, ask them what they have been finding in the garden. They found some interesting things in the pond and have been tidying up and doing some planting. The children are loving their lunchtimes being busy! Mrs Stevenson was so busy today, she forgot to have her lunch!!
Rainbow Room Smoothie Cafe
We had a lovely morning in The Rainbow Room with our guests who joined us to try out the smoothies recipes we have been practising over the last couple of weeks. Lots of discussion about different ingredients and flavours and likes and dislikes. We also shared the books from our Waterstones trip, did some colouring in, jigsaws, wordsearches and puzzles!
Thanks to all of our family members who were able to join us. The children loved having a guest, whether it was someone from home or a friend from class.
Here we are having fun in our learning!
