Phonics Session 2 ed words verbs

Morning everyone!

Hopefully you had fun describing your view yesterday.  My Sophie gave this a go and drew the tree and birds in our front garden.  She managed to write one sentence to go with her picture.

Today, we will look at a Spring picture and describe what we see, hear and feel using the descriptive bubble to help us.  Do what you can.  Remember to have fun, get some fresh air and stay safe.

Week 1, lesson 2 Writing Home Learning Imaginative

Good morning everyone. Here is what we would like you to work on today. Please also see plan for more details.

Literacy

• Your common words for today are, the, of, and, a and to.

Numeracy

• Mental math as on timetable.
• Begin to learn number bonds within 10. (See number bond sheet within home learning pack).

Afternoon

• Mrs Grenfell will provide an art activity for you.

Just a little extra fun for our P1s… we all know how much Miss Mackay loves a penguin so check out the live webcam of the penguins at Edinburgh Zoo. There are other animals for you to look at as well. You could draw a picture of the animals you look at.
