P7 Food for Thought Event

Today the P7 class went to a food event which was held in Livingstone Football Club.  They watched a chef demonstrate how to cook mussels and mackerel, made smoothies, watched a barista make coffee and tasted lots of other freshly cooked items such as pasta, scones and bread.  The children also gathered lots of career information about careers they may enter into linked with the food industry.

Mrs Galloway had set us a challenge at the playdough table this week. We had to see if we could create hedgehogs with playdough and pasta. We had fun making tall spaghetti towers and we could even thread pasta and cheerios onto the spaghetti!

Having fun in Primary 1!

What a busy week we’ve had.

Dressing up as firefighters and acting out different emergency situations was very exciting but we know only to call 999 in a real emergency.

We have been very lucky with the weather this week and our nursery children have enjoyed playing outside in the garden.  The children were using their large muscles to balance, jump and roll.
