Tracey and Steven are talking about their hilarious picture book series, Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam. We have tuned in to hear a reading of Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam and are learning how to draw the characters in the live draw-along!
This morning we shared a book with our reading partners. We took it in turns to tell the story using not words but pictures. We know what a book might be about by looking at the cover and that helps us choose one we think we might like. Here we are enjoying our books!
This afternoon we have been using the internet to find out about different roman mosaic designs like the ones below, which were our favorite. We enjoyed creating our designs, laying these out on our mosaic boards and gluing these down. We worked with our peers to help one another to complete our designs. Now we need to use grout to seal in the gaps between our tiles.
