How fancy do we look?!

We had so much fun at our party!

Games, prizes, dancing and treats! 🎅🏻☃🎉🎄

1. As part of our recycling topic we decided to reuse material to make dress up capes. We designed and created our own superhero capes. Thankfully Miss Currie helped us out. She helped us learn about patterns, cutting material and the most fun part – using the sewing machine!

Everyone used the sewing machine to sew on their own ribbon to the top of the cape!

What fun we had! 😊

P2 were learning how to sew last term! It was very tricky. The children were practising their patience and perseverance too!

Im sure you’ll agree it’s paid off!

We were lucky enough to be visited an author and illustrator. David Holt and Emma Bilston entertained us with their story, Crombie the Zombie. David told us the story and Emma showed us how to draw the main character. Crombie was sad, he was different and had no friends.  It was a happy ending, he made friends with the boys and girls. Fly 1, Fly 2 and Fly 3 helped him to make friends, suggesting places for him to try.

We had a very special visitor yesterday, probably on his way to the North Pole we thought. Thankyou to Santa for stopping off at our party and for the lovely presents. We were able to tell him what we are hoping he will leave under our trees.
