Today in class we were measuring using tenths of a metre. We recorded our answers as fractions and also decimal fractions. Our measuring skills linked nicely to our work last week when we were learning all about decimal fractions.
This week we started learning about what tools we use to measure different things. We applied this knowledge when we made our fizzy potions and lava lamps for Halloween. We needed just the right amount of ingredients to get the mixtures to fizz but stay within the jar.
This week we have been carrying out some science experiments in P3/2. We tried different ways to make ghosts wail and fly and used our feedback to improve our techniques.
