Human Arrays, skip counting ladders, hopscotch and noughts and crosses.  Lots of great ways to learn multiplication in our outdoor learning today.

Today we took our spelling outdoors and used the playground and chalk instead of our jotters. We also gathered some natural resources and used them to create our spelling words.

In Art we took advantage of the sunny weather and used shadows to create an image on our paper.

Some of the class participated in the West Lothian Triathlon event involving a swim, cycle and run. Well done!

We had lots of fun in maths today, using concrete materials and drawing pictures to help us understand our multiplication.

After our book hunt at the library this morning, we came back and decided that we would get Mrs Sutherland’s bears and soft toys from The Rainbow Room and take them outside to read our new books to them! It’s a bit like the waggy dogs we think!

Today we decided to go out and find some shady spots to do some reading with p5/6.  We had lots of fun and made some new friends.
