This week we have been carrying out some science experiments in P3/2. We tried different ways to make ghosts wail and fly and used our feedback to improve our techniques.
The children loved being part of the Ness Book read in this morning. We listened to a chapter from our class novel Fantastic Mr Fox where we focused on clarifying some of the vocabulary and text that was unfamiliar to us. Then we had some time for personal reading for enjoyment.
The children used their problem solving skills to turn their 100 squares into jigsaw puzzles today, this demonstrated their understanding of ordering and sequencing to 100.
The children were able to revise their shape and symmetry knowledge by completing these beautiful Rangoli patterns. One amazing pupil even made their own pattern with perfect symmetry, great work!
