Today the P6H children were creating patterns using two lines of symmetry.  They were using double sided counters to learn about the concept and also created some designs on the Promethean board.

Last week the P6H class were learning about elections and held their own election.  The winning party was the BA party lead by Josh with 48% of the votes.  The party has 5 key policies which are:

1.  Stop starvation
2. Help the homeless
3. Give free food, transport and clothes to the homeless
4. Everyone is equal
5. Not start up trouble

Our ‘Class Minister’ is looking forward to carrying out his duties.

Despite the Scottish weather yesterday, the children still enjoyed being outdoors and using some of the new outdoor equipment the school has.

We have been learning the concept of percentages using double sided counters.  We are now able to write percentages as fractions and also decimals.
