We have been finding out about life in Africa through the story of Handa’s Surprise. It has been great fun learning to play the African drums, make African necklaces and do some African dancing. It’s not as easy as it looks!
On Monday, the afternoon children went to the park as part of learning about their local community. They followed instructions from the adults and took turns on the equipment. The children were also developing their gross motor skills by joining in with physical play.
The afternoon children enjoyed showing their parents around the nursery. The parents had the opportunity to see what learning goes on in the nursery and how busy their children are.
