STEM

Investigating ‘Changes of State’.

Investigate changes of state by making Obleck from cornflour and water, or by testing how long it takes to melt ice at room temperature versus high heat (hairdryer).

Watch the following clip to get you up to speed with the theory behind the science:

Record some notes using your whiteboard and pen.

Record your findings (a summary of what happened during your experiment) on paper and pen.  Upload a photograph of your findings under this STEM entry on the wall. Remember, do not fill up the wall with all the pictures.  Only reply under this post.

Friday P6B

Well done everyone. We made it another great week! See tasks below. Please remember to stay safe, happy and healthy during the holiday. Try and go plenty of walks with your family for fresh air and a change of scene. Use the time to get things organised around the house or your room that you have been meaning to do for ages. Remember to be kind to one another.😂

Please complete this short task by printing the yellow sheet or designing your own one. It is more important than ever to find the positives in life! 💖

Additionally, I have only received 3 PPT Presentations on Easter in France, so please finish them and submit to myself on the wall, in files or via email. The presentation instructions can be found at this link https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/wl/uphallprimary/2020/04/01/p6b-afternoon-mr-blair-2nd-april-pe-idl/

P6B Afternoon Mr Blair 2nd April PE/IDL

PE Indoor
Good Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all well. Here is today’s PE Task followed by IDL.  Once you have completed the work out (snakes and ladders game), have a look at the ‘PE Benchmarks’ picture.  Choose one benchmark from any of the 4 sections which is relevant to today’s task and explain why. For example ‘I needed __________ for this task because ____________.’ Leave your answers in the comments. Enjoy 🙂

IDL
Open the ‘Easter Traditions’ PowerPoint.  Read through the presentation.  Use the information and pictures to help inspire you to create your own PowerPoint on Easter traditions in France.  Obviously, you can use the facts and information from the PPT provided, but I do not want you to create an exact copy.  Pick out the most interesting facts and then use the internet to do your own research to enhance your presentation.

Remember to include a contents slide and for each slide to have a heading / title so your reader knows what you are talking about.

Have fun and get creative.  Post your PPT presentations in the comments underneath this post.  Snakes and Ladders Instructions Snakes and Ladders Game t2-g-2567179-easter-traditions-in-france-powerpoint_ver_4
