Click on the link for a short lesson on reading and recognising the “f” sound.
I will post some activities tomorrow to practise reading words containing the “f” sound. Good luck.

I can sketch a picture of a bird.
As I have been at home a lot recently, I have become quite fascinated with the birds in my garden. I am trying to capture them on camera but they keep flying away before I can get close. It gave me an idea – to try and draw some. I have made a start sketching one.
Here is a photo I did manage to capture.
Have you seen any birds? Try to sketch one. You may wish to use pencil or black pen like you do at school. You can colour it in, if you wish.
Click on the link below for pictures of birds to help you.
Good luck

Playing and building is good for the development of the mind. It also makes us happy. Lego is great for building fine motor control. If you do not have Lego you could use building blocks or even items around the house – stationery, tins of food, cotton reels. Choose a few activities from the link and complete them.
If you cannot click on the link you could build – a pyramid, a ship, your dream room or a birthday cake.
Have fun – remember: it is important to play and have fun!
