Learning activities for P1-Wednesday 13th May

Good morning once again to you all. We would like you to continue working on your People Who Help Us project today. No photo description available.

Can you guess who is wearing the paramedic uniform?

Maths: continue to explore capacity

measuring capacity at home

(These sheets do not all need to be completed at once, you might find it easier to do one today, one tomorrow and one on Friday).

Mrs Grenfell has provided a PE task for you, you might still be working on your skipping. Miss Mackay are you still working on yours?!

Keep us updated, we love to hear what you’re up to and what you’re enjoying.

Thank you for sending in more pictures of the children making their capacity puddles, baking and their art using their hands. Your messages are lovely to read, Miss Mackay and I will have to do some more videos for the children to help keep their spirits and motivation up. I think they will like the maths activity we have prepared for tomorrow.

  2. Morning. I have sent an email over for you. I’m guessing it could be the head teacher 🤷‍♀️. Jake is still asleep so will ask him shortly who he thinks it could be. He never sleeps till this time, must have been all they moves lastnight playing just dance with his big sister 😂 xx

Morning, it’s not come through yet. Great that he’s having fun dancing with his big sister, added bonus that it’s helped to tire him out, it’s unfortunate the same doesn’t happen with my little girl-she rarely sleeps beyond 8am! It was me (Mrs McKay) in the paramedic jacket! Have a lovely day.

Must have been the angle it was taken at! Your email has come through, he is working so hard, thank you for your support. He looks very smart in his kilt and with his haircut. Loving the deep sea diving too, what a lucky boy.

  5. Lillie thinks the picture is Mrs McKay and says she liked wearing all the uniform 🤣
Lillie is really enjoying doing parts of her project everyday about her uncle who is a fireman, she even wrote a list of questions and called him to get all the answers to help her along the way. She really is missing going to school but says she enjoys being in pjs 🤣

Hi, I love his project, he looks so happy with what he’s done. Mrs Grenfell is also delighted with his art. Looking forward to hearing him read, you must be so proud of how much he’s come on. This is the best part of being a P1 teacher. Good luck with the skipping challenge,I’m sure there will be lots of laughter-it’s not as easy as you’d think teaching them how to skip! Have a lovely evening. I think he’ll love the maths task tomorrow-it’s hands on again.

His reading is amazing, I’ve just watched the videos-thank you for sending them in. A super way to exercise, my daughter has spent lots of time on her trampoline too recently. Have a lovely day.
