P1 Home Learning activities Monday 22nd June

Free Happy Monday Cliparts, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip Art ...                                                                                              Good morning and Happy Monday to you all. It was so nice seeing so many of our primary one children and their families on Friday. This is our last week of home learning before the holidays begin! We are going to provide you with a variety of learning grids this week and would like the children to pick and choose what they would like to do. If we were in school under normal circumstances this would be a week of fun and a chance to begin winding down. The children have coped remarkably well throughout lockdown and have thoroughly impressed us with what they have been able to produce. We are going to be working in school for the majority of this week so may not be quite as prompt at answering your questions or replying to your blog comments.  Have a lovely day.                                                                                                                      Mrs McKay and Miss Mackay

  2. Hi Mrs McKay & Miss Mackay,
It was lovely to see you both on Friday. Isla and Harris were thrilled to be back in school.
Harris couldn’t wait to show us all his school work. It was amazing to see how much he has developed since he started P1. He loves learning new words and reading stories. You’ve given him all the tools he needs to tackle difficult words and he feels confident reading them aloud.
The little card and photographs made my heart melt. Lots of tears were shed- by me!
I just want to say a huge heartfelt thank you for all that you do. We couldn’t have hoped for a more positive start to his schooling.
I hope you have great summer.

    Best wishes,
    Lisa

Thank you, it really is the most rewarding job being a primary 1 teacher. Your support and encouragement are also vital and have really helped with the progress the children have made. Hope you all have a wonderful summer having fun and creating happy memories.
