Calling All Primary 1 Parents/Carers

At Uphall Primary we are striving to improve communication between home and school.

Last year, as part of our school improvement planning process and our family learning initiative, we invited parents of Primary 1 pupils to tell us about their experience of the transition process from nursery to P1.

We would now like to hear from our current P1 parents as we continue to improve the transition process.

You are invited to attend a conversation café at Uphall Primary on Friday 10th November at 11.40am.  Please join us if you are free for tea, coffee and conversation.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Big Bedtime Read Book Donation Request

Uphall Nursery Class will soon be taking part in The Big Bedtime Read Project. This will take the format of a lending library and children will receive five books a week home to read with their family.
Please see the link below for more information.

As I’m sure you can imagine we need a lot of books to be able to make this happen, therefore we are requesting donations of books in good condition suitable for 3-5 year olds.
If you are able to donate any books could you please hand them to the nursery or the school office?
Many thanks for your continued support.

Sports for Champions

Primary 2G enjoyed meeting Judo champion Stephanie Inglis today.  Stephanie told the children how she used determination and hard work to become a Judo champion.  The children got to see and wear Stephanie’s silver medal and tried some of her training techniques in the gym hall.
