We have enjoyed learning about a very famous Scottish dog, Greyfriar’s Bobby. We have used ICT to do our own research about Bobby and we found some very interesting facts. We wrote our own information reports all about Bobby.
We explored the use of line to create pencil drawings of Bobby. We used straight and wavy lines to draw his fur and features. We tried to make it look as realistic as possible.
We had the opportunity to share our learning with the whole school at assembly on Monday. We invited the school to challenge themselves to save energy. We explained that you can do simple things such as switch the lights off when you leave a room, unplug chargers when not in use, don’t leave the fridge door open for long, turn the tap off when brushing your teeth and wear warm clothes inside instead of turning the heating up. We all had our parts to say and we spoke confidently and clearly. Well done!
