P7 Monday 22nd June

Good morning everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend!

Today marks the start of your last week of Primary School – I can’t believe it!

It also marks the start of our Summer Reading Challenge so please refer to Mrs Llaza’s blog [ Primary 5/6] to see what’s going on.

I have also made up a grid of tasks for you to choose from. This grid is valid for the whole week.

Please just enjoy your last week and don’t work too hard and remember to say ‘Hi’ on Teams.

This is the last day to send me your Baby pictures, favourite memories video, tie video etc so if you have not already sent these to me , please do so today. Thank you.

Welcome back for our final week of Primary 3!

This week we will be doing fun revision tasks. I have attached the learning grid for this week below. Please choose 2 activities to complete each day. I have also attached copies of the common words and sounds that we have been learning this year for you to revise.

Primary 1/2 Week beginning 22.6.20

Good Morning boys and girls,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and a fantastic Teddy Bear Picnic on Friday.

This is the last week of school before the summer holidays!

We will be concentrating on revision of phonemes and common words as well as having fun. We have put together a learning activity grid for all the infant department and provided a list of all the common words and phonemes taught this year.

We suggest that you choose two activities a day to complete.

Good Morning P2/3-22/6/20

Welcome back everyone!

This is your final week of online learning before the summer holidays.

This week we are having a whole school Summer Reading Challenge Week! If you haven’t done so already, watch Mrs Llaza’s video post which is pinned to the top of our main blog page for more information on this exciting event! This week, each day, there will be lots of activities posted for you to do and take part in, which are all related to our school’s love of reading! (There’s even a video of me reading a story with Ebony) Reading to you all is something I have really missed doing every day!

For our activities this week, instead of the usual daily PowerPoint, we are posting a learning grid for the week and we recommend that you pick a couple of activities to do each day. Also, posted below, is are a few document pages which have both the stage 2 and stage 3 common words and sounds that we have covered throughout the whole year for you to revise at your own pace.

Upper School Last Week Learning Grid

As we enter the last week of school for this academic year, the upper school (P4 – P7) have created a grid which has a range of activities over a range of subjects which should help you to continue learning over the course of this week.

You can choose what order you wish to complete the activities in, however you do not need to complete all of the activities. We recommend that you try to complete at least 2 activities per day.

The hope is that this will help you engage and spend most of your time on the reading tasks that will be given throughout this week for reading week!

There is also a West Lothian Sumdog Competition running this week which you can take part in, lets see how high our school can get on the leaderboard.

Story time

One of the children asked me to read this story a couple of weeks ago but we’ve been so busy we haven’t had a space to put it on! I hadn’t forgotten though so we got there eventually!!!!
