Primary 1

Good morning Primary 1

Today why not try using Education City to practice your money skills. In class we were learning to identify different coins up to £2 and use coins to make values up to 20p using different coin combinations.

Games to search for on Education City are ‘Dino Day Out’, ‘shelling out’ and ‘Splash Out’.

You could also ask an adult to help you collect a selection of coins from around the house and work with real money to make different amounts up to 20p.

For some French learning you could continue practicing  counting to 10 and start to learn the primary colours in French using learning videos on line. Here are some you can try try.

Primary 2/3

Why don’t you have some fun trying to write as many words you can think of in 1 minute that begin with the letter ‘B’.  After you’ve done that, you can pick a different letter of the alphabet.  You could make it in to a game and play against someone in your house.  Good luck!

Primary 3/4 1.4.20

This afternoon why not try the following tasks.

  • Use your jotter or a word document to write at least 5 sentences which each have a different opener. These can be linked (about the same topic) or different. Remember your core targets and try to up level your sentences by thinking about the descriptive bubble used in class e.g. add number, colour, shape etc.

  •  Do another page in your handwriting booklet.

Primary 3/4

Good morning everyone.  This morning you can choose a different way to learn your spelling words e.g rainbow writing, writing them with lego bricks etc.  Afterwards you can log on to Education City for the times tables songs and do one of the times table worksheets from your pack afterwards.

I hope you enjoyed David Walliams.

Maths- how many ways can you make 100?write these in your jotter.

Use a dice or two to roll and practise your times tables.

Choose a page in your money workbook. Fast finishers can play maths games on top marks.

Then- read your Eric book and record in your jotter some facts about the main character in your book. If you finish all of this, it is time for a well deserved break.
