Primary 6/7 have had a wonderful week with lots of great learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- We feel that we are making very good progress in PE with badminton as we are able to control the shuttle more as we build our rallies with our partners
- We feel very positive about starting to prepare for our first class debate as we have worked hard on researching and preparing speeches
- We enjoyed our writing task this week and made good progress as we began our focus on persuasive writing and we had to choose whether we wanted to argue for or against school uniform
- We all really enjoyed sharing our ideas and opinions in our Learning Hub groups on Friday morning
- Our Rights champions felt that we had very good meetings this week as we prepare for our next Rights Day in school
- We all really enjoyed starting to learn about the history of World War II this week in class
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- Some of us felt that our comprehension work with Mrs Robertson was a bit tricky as it was hard to find the information in the text to answer the questions
- Some of us found our Maths work on fractions and decimals and how to convert from one to the other a bit difficult
- Lots of us felt that there needs to be better listening when we are out for our outdoor learning sessions
Our school value award winners for this week are Georgia and Zac. Congratulations!
Well done P6/7 for a fantastic, busy week. Have a lovely weekend.
