Be Your Best

Primary 3/4 – Friday 7th November

We have had a great week in Primary 3/4! We were all so excited to tell each other what we had been up to over the weekend! Lots of us had some sweeties from Halloween!

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well)

  • In Numeracy, we have been working very hard on our multiplication. This week we focused on multiplying by 10 and 100!
  • On Wednesday, we created firework Art using lots of different coloured chalk! They turned out fantastic and we loved showing our grown ups!
  • In Literacy this week we have been developing our confidence in our new writing genre. Our recounts were great this week and we are feeling better about this!
  • We have enjoyed continuing our new topic. We are learning more and more about Rainforests!

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • We still think that sometimes we forget to turn on our listening ears. Although we have been improving, we want to continue to work on this!
  • We need to try and remember that Mondays are our outdoor learning day so to make sure we bring a change of clothes/ wellies in case we get muddy!
  • We also need to look after our classroom resources more. Some things have been broken or lost so we want to be really careful going forward!

Our value award winners this week for being responsible is Sofia and for being ambitious is Eadie! Well done!

Great work Primary 3/4, see you on Monday!
