We have had another fantastic week in Primary 2/3 and we particularly enjoyed our visits from the DISCO group on Tuesday and Reverend Boyd on Thursday. These visits supported our learning about our community past and present.
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well)
- To celebrate Maths Week Scotland we used natural materials to play a variety of maths games during our Outdoor Learning time.
- During writing, we thought of a lot of different adjectives to use when creating descriptions about Autumn.
- We were developing our communicating skills during our play activities.
- We loved looking at the slides Reverend Boyd showed us about how the church had changed.
- We also loved talking with the DISCO group members about how their life was different to ours when they were young.
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)
- We revisited our Flower Petal rich task and although we were able to solve the number problem this time, we still found it difficult to explain the strategy we had used.
- We found it difficult to think of questions when doing a reading task so we will do more work on this.
Our value award winners for this week are Milly for being responsible and Freddie for being ambitious. Well done!
