Tickled Pink

  • We enjoyed learning about the Industrial Revolution in Social Studies. We learned that coal and steam played a huge part in shaping our world and that children even younger than us were sent up chimneys and into factories to work.
  • In writing we developed our description skills further and wrote about a forest, using synonyms, similes and metaphors.
  • For PE we have begun learning about hockey and have begun learning the skill of keeping the ball close to the stick and attacking an opponents ball.

Green for Growth

  • We are continuing to practise carrying over in addition and making sure that we always carry over the tens and never the ones.
  • Our listening skills still need more practise, especially during instructions.

Lead learners this week are Jack and Rosa.
