Primary 6/7 have had a fantastic week in school, with lots of great learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning:
Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):
- We enjoyed continuing with our writing task from last week because we were given the freedom to choose what we wanted whilst imagining our perfect day
- Lots of us were confident with our subtraction review work this week
- We enjoyed continuing to work on our personal crests in Art especially because we could link this to our “My Perfect Day” piece of writing and make connections between the important things in our lives that we have chosen to illustrate and write about
- We enjoyed our French lesson with Mrs Flynn and the games of Bingo which helped us to practise the vocabulary that we are learning
- We all enjoyed reading with our Primary 1 buddies on Friday morning and encouraging their listening skills whilst showing them how to act responsibly in school
Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning):
- Some of us found our Maths work with shapes quite tricky, especially as we reviewed and learned some tricky vocabulary about shapes
- Some of us also felt that our first attempt to learn how to putt in our golf lesson earlier this week was a bit difficult as it is more tricky to control the direction and strength of the shot
Our school value award winners for this week are Niamh and Ben and they will set our class targets next week in collaboration with our lead learners from last week, Faith and Che.
Well done for an excellent week, Primary 6/7. Have a lovely weekend.
