We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1!

Tickled Pink:

  • We had our Nativity performances for the whole school and our grown ups – the children were all AMAZING! I am very proud of everyone and I know they are feeling very proud of themselves too!
  • In maths we were looking at measuring weight and the children had lots of fun using the balancing scales to find out which toy/item is heavier and which is lighter.
  • We have been learning more tricky words and the children love finding them in stories or listening for them in sentences said by teachers in the school.

Green for Growth:

  • We have been looking at numbers 11-20 this week and some of the children are finding it a bit tricky to remember 11, 12 and 13… we will keep practising identifying the numbers.
  • For Outdoor Learning we had a ‘snowball fight’, each snowball had a sum written on it and we had to work out the answer and write it on our sheet. Some of the children found it a bit tricky to write their answer in the correct place.

Our Lead Learners next week are Freddie and Emily.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Wallace
