Tickled Pink:

  • During outdoor learning, we were expanding our compass knowledge that we had been working on in maths. We drew 8 point compasses, then we gave instructions to our partners to help them navigate around the playground and finally, we played Simon Says with compass directions.
  • We have been working on symmetry this week. We were looking at different points of symmetry, finishing complex shapes to show their symmetric side and drawing our own symmetric patterns.
  • We enjoyed writing an imaginative recount about gaining superpowers and experiencing a day in the life as a superhero.

Green for Growth:

  • We were recreating our Charles Rennie Mackintosh roses that we had drawn on Paint on our laptops. We found it a little tricky to work what tools and how to use them.
  • We struggled this week to finish our list of materials and instructions for our Enterprise topic project. This is something we will really need to focus on this week.

Our Lead Learners are Jodie and Ruaridh.
