Tickled Pink:

  • Nativity rehearsals are going really well and the children are super excited to be performing it next week for the school children to see and then families.
  • Our focus during topic this week is about Doctors and the children have enjoyed some role play and can talk about how to make an appointment and get a check up, and that sometimes you might need to get some medicine. We discussed that adults should always help us take medicine and check it is the right amount – and you never take medicine that has someone else’s name on it! We have also been learning the names of some the equipment that doctors might use to check us over.
  • In maths we have been focusing on how to write numbers 11-15 this week and how we can build the numbers by doing a group of ten and then some extras.

Green for Growth:

  • In writing this week we were describing a teddy bear – some of the sentences were a bit challenging but the children done really well with the help of a word mat and the describing bubble.
  • Some children are finding it a bit tricky to recognise numbers 11-15 but we will keep practising.

Our Lead Learners next week are Olivia N and Elodie.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Wallace
