Book Week Scotland

We have had a great time celebrating Book Week Scotland.  All our classes have been involved with various book activities.  Primary 1-4 really enjoyed the visit from author and illustrator, Sophy Henn.  We were really excited that we had the chance to help her create a new character for her stories!

Primary 1-3 also enjoyed receiving our Bookbug and Read Write Count bags.  We had so much fun reading the stories and taking part in the activities with the adults who were able to visit.  We also had a visit from Shirley who works in Blackburn Library, telling us all about the exciting things going on in the library over the next few weeks.
