Tickled Pink

  • We wrote a newspaper article about the school sports tournaments we have attended for our recount writing this week. We had to make sure we were writing in third person which we found a little tricky but we really enjoyed writing in a different style.
  • We have started planning our enterprise project this week. In groups, we have created a poster detailing what our business will be and what materials we would need. Next week, we will present these to the whole class and decide what project to go forward with.
  • We have been exploring the Zones of Regulation this week, learning more about the different coloured zones, what they mean, how we can tell what zone we are in and how we can regulate our emotions.

Green for growth

  • We are still working on angles in maths. This week, some of us were working with protractors to measure and draw angles and some of us were focused on directional language. We had to be resilient to keep practising how to use the protractor.
  • We are continuing to work on using digital tools to help with our learning. We need to keep developing our laptop skills to help us.

Lead learners this week are Ryan and Connor.
