We have had a great week in Primary 1!

Tickled Pink:

  • Children enjoyed our Halloween addition yesterday and guessing how many eye balls were in the jar. We listened for clues and scored out answers that were not correct. We then had to count all of the eyeballs – there was 58!
  • We had fun painting autumn trees – using our hand and arm to be the trunk and branches and then stamping corks in paint to be the leaves.
  • We have started learning the songs for our Nativity – the children are remembering them and singing them beautifully!
  • We had fun doing a Halloween scavenger hunt in the playground for outdoor learning.

Green for Growth:

  • Some children found the cutting task a bit tricky this week and so we will continue to practise our scissor skills.

Our Lead Learners next week are Elodie and Jaxon.

We had fun dressing up today for our Scare Hunger Event – the children looked spooktacular!!

Have a great weekend,

Mrs Wallace
