Tickled Pink

  • In science we have been learning about forces. This week we learned about magnetic force and investigated magnetic and non magnetic materials.
  • For maths we moved around different stations to use our 2D shape knowledge. We did a shape hunt, tangrams, hidden shapes game, explain the shape, cutting and sorting shapes and using online shape games.
  • In RME we learned that Islam is one of the world’s largest religions. Muslims use the name Allah for God and they have a special person called Muhammed (PBUH).

Green for Growth

  • Place value is fun but we are finding that textbook work can be tricky when we don’t read the questions. Our target is to read the question first before asking for help.
  • In writing we have been enhancing our description skills but some of us forget that we must use adjectives to make it more interesting for the reader.
  • For topic we have been looking at world maps but our teacher gave us a really tricky task of cutting out jigsaw pieces of the world to sort.

Lead learners next week are Olivia for being ambitious and Blake for being responsible.
